Add from Server is a plugin that lets users import their large files into the WordPress uploads manager from any location on your server. This makes it easy to move files from your server for use in a WordPress site.
Just download the plugin, install and activate it and you’re ready to use it.
To start uploading your bulk files, go to the admin sidebar and look for Add from Server under Media. Or you can go directly to the Plugins interface.
The plugin will then display the folders in your WordPress directory. From there, you can choose the location of your files and click those that you want to upload to the media library. If you want to upload all files, simply click the box beside File at the top left.
After the import process, your files will then appear in the media library and that’s it.
Add from Server is a great uploading tool and a must-use for people often moving files from a server to WordPress.
