Ever gone to a bookstore and head straight to the magazine rack? Well now you can go online to that ‘magazine rack’.

Alltop is the magazine rack of the web. It aims to help you answer your question: “What’s Going On? or What’s Happening?” in all the topics that interest you. So basically what Alltop does is it categorizes all the top headlines from the most popular topics on the web.

Unlike a search engine, they don’t search for information about a topic. Instead they search for what is going on regarding that topic. They do this by collecting headlines of latest stories, blog posts, Facebook and other social media posts and feeds that cover a specific topic and transform them into individual web pages called aggregations. Then they display the most recent headlines and first paragraph.
