Blip.tv has offered one advantage over sites such as YouTube, and that is the capacity to harbor larger sized videos that require bigger megabyte quantities. If you are not using Blip as a business venture and need a place to host videos that other sites reject due to the high storage required, Blip may be an alternative to consider.

The drawback however, is that if Blip thinks your site is for commercial and not personal use it will deactivate your account, so it is very important on this site to keep the appearance that this is strictly a personal, non business account.
