CafeMom is a social network for mothers and who are mothers to be. This site has now 8 million register user and accounting for over 140 million page views, in New York City, the company has about 120 employees. According to their own website, as of 2009, CafeMom.com has turned profitable.
For celebrity gossip,current events, parenting dilemmas (and solutions), and home decorating this site launched a new feature called The stir.
Meeting other mothers-
Member can meet online via this site. After visiting others member homepage they can connect each others with groups. This site has estimated 70,000 individuals group and mothers can easily connect with this group via online.Alternatively mothers can meet other moms online by asking or responding to questions in the answer section of the website and/or by posting comments about articles which have been written by moms using the site. This site enable user to keep touch with friends , they can also email others friend with this site.

In 2009, the marketing news and expert advice website, Clickz, published an article on CafeMom’s newly launched games section, and the impact it was making. CafeMom has been featured in newspapers, magazines and television and radio programs. Articles have appeared in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Good Morning America along with programs on The Today Show and Webmaster Radio.
