CaringBridge is a social network which organized in 1997 and it is nonprofit social organization which offers injury or procedure, personalized websites,undergoing medical treatment and/or recovering from a significant accident, illness, free of charge, to people facing serious medical conditions, and hospitalization . They provide service for friends and family member to receive information via a single website. They can also receive telephone call via this service.
Purpose-
This site was created for making a easy way to friend ,family and patient and medical information to connecting each others . When visiting an individual’s website, visitors can post messages of support during a significant medical condition, crisis or event. The websites are designed to become conduits between patients, their families, friends, neighbors and colleagues.
How it works-
anyone can be a user of this site and this site is available via PC, or smart phone. They have provide mobile apps for browsing their site via OS or android mobile. The user post the recent condition of the patient, post images, and write the condition. If the patient update change if they update the condition then all family member will get the update via email message. Website authors can share journaling and website tasks with a co-author. Co-authors can add journal entries, post photos and change website settings, allowing multiple people to be directly involved in communicating about a health journey.
Privacy-
User can make their conversation both private and public way. This site never sell user information to others third party. So user information are very safe here.
