Over the last month LinkedIn has had a number of important updates. It refreshed its mobile app and introduced an entirely new app called Connected. It also introduced a new and distinctly separate Sales Navigator premium account.

What is great about the LinkedIn Connected app is how it leverages the signals or conversation triggers from your network and suggests actions for you to engage and nurture your network.

This cool tool reminds you to wish people happy birthday, congratulate people on a new job, and also tells you when people are mentioned in the news.

If you are early for a meeting and a few minutes to kill, or whenever you have a couple of minutes, you can use your phone to nurture your network, strengthen your connections, and discover opportunities to reconnect with people for a conversation.
