Gmail, if you don’t know what it is, was once upon a time, a genius idea from Google. Google email. And it was invite only. You had to know someone with serious Google connections to get in. Now, it’s today’s most widely used email account and in order to have an Android phone, you have to have a Gmail account.

Gmail is popular because it’s super secure, hard to hack (but it can be done) and it revolutionized the way we do email by adding a simple little feature to our inbox: the search tool. Not only can you search the web from your email account, but also search for specific emails. You can add stars and labels as well.  You can also make phone calls with Gmail to any US phone number, and don’t forget about their unlimited storage. Even if you have your own @mydomainname.com email adderess, always have a gmail account to forward your most important emails to to save as a back
