Google+ Hangouts is a free Google service that lets members engage in real time conversation inside Google Plus. It allows instant messages, voice and video calls involving multiple people in various locations.

It is also possible to send messages, photos and emojis even when not connected. Those who receive your messages will be notified the next time they log in through an alert.

Groups calls involving up to 10 people are allowed on Google Plus Hangouts. Simply invite a friend or contact to get the conversation started. Screen sharing can be done as well which is ideal for people who want to do some tutorials during the call.

Hangouts is not just for serious conversation because you can always get together with friends or family members and talk just about anything you like. It’s a great way to connect from anywhere you may be.

Users can also type in a phone number from their Hangouts to call a friend of contact. Calls to the U.S. and Canada are free while there’s a minimal fee for calls to other countries.

If you wish to relive your previous conversations, you can always go back to them and enjoy what you talked about earlier.

Hangouts work on computers as well as on Apple and Android devices.

Even if you’re just using Gmail, it is still possible to join a conversation via Hangouts. Simply upgrade Chat to Hangouts by clicking on your photo icon in the chat list.

Another great feature of Hangouts is its ability to make your recording available not only on Google Plus but as well as on YouTube.
