IFTTT is a service that lets you create connections with an if this then that statement. If you’re posting with any kind of frequency across social networks then IFTTT is a must have tool for your arsenal. You can even automate actions that are not social media related. Use other people`s recipes or design your own.

The obvious benefit of IFTTT is to automate messages if you have a blog. It starts with your RSS feed (if this) and delivers to the network you want (then that). While IFTTT includes Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, you should think about automating to other networks like Tumblr, Delicious, Diigo, etc.

Getting your message out to more channels will help you expand your reach. This will get more eyeballs back to your message. The recipes below activate when publish a blog post. Your RSS feed will automatically send a message through IFTTT. In the examples below one message is sent to your Twitter account and the other to your Delicious account.
