Not many Facebook users know that this popular platform now allows its members to do contests on their pages via posts. This can be done using an app called Contest Capture.

What Contest Capture is export comments and likes to keep track of contest entries. The best part is it’s free.

Simply visit the Contest Capture site and connect to your Facebook account right on the home page. From there, you just have to select a Facebook page, choose a post and then you’ll get your CSV export. Next, open the CSV file and you’ll see a list of people who liked or commented on your post. It’s up to you then how you’re going to draw the winner of your contest.

Remember to allow permissions to enable the app to collect data from your Facebook pages. Rest assured that the app won’t post anything on your Timeline or on your page’s Timeline.
