Open Diary was an online community and social network where people can write dairy and share. This site was open in 1998 and it close in 2014 , this was only site where user can write diary and feel like they are in a community.

Open diary was a world wide popular online community, because it visitor and user was from 77 different country. This site had more than 5 million diary.

Features-
Open Diary had allows user to create diary in public,private, and friend only. There was a option that user can make every part of the diary with different settings of privacy. There was option for commenting on the diary stories, other public who are not user of that site but  they also able to comment if the topic was public.

user was able to search for a particular diary topics, they also able to create a bookmark about their favorite topics.

Open Diary also provides a free email service, which is not limited to Open Diary members.
