Screenr is a free web tool that lets users do instant screencasts. It features a web-based screen recorder to enable a user to create and share screencasts online.

It’s fairly easy to use this tool as you only need to click the record button and instantly, you can capture your screen and even include a voice recording if you want. Once done, you can then share the link to your screencast.

There’s no need to download or install an app because you can simply record on your PC or Mac. Each recording is limited to five minutes. A free and paid option is available and you don’t need to sign up to be able to use this screen recording tool.

Simply visit the site and click the red record button on the page. You screen will immediately be captured but you can pause your recording at any time. When you’re finished, just click the Done button. There’s also a text box available where you can add a message to your screencast.

Screencasts done via Screenr can be viewed anywhere even on mobile devices such as the iPhone.

Screenr is a great way to do video tutorials particularly on subjects that pertain to using online tools. You can show people the ways to use social networking sites, share information on news products and applications as well as tips and strategies.
