Seen: Hashtag-based curation @seenco #WebToolsWiki

- Last Update:

Seen is a useful platform that lets you gather and rank the best media for any event using deep intelligence. Collect the media that was shared with a certain hashtag, then rank the results. You can then share your curation with friends and followers. It alerts users to what’s trending and noteworthy in quick summaries.

The hashtag plays a vital role in this platform. Seen will show you the best photos and videos from any topic or event by using the hashtag. It will also automatically search for trending people and highlights and let you share them with your friends so they, too, can enjoy the information.

Using its SeenRank algorithm, Seen makes stories accessible to people by capturing the pulse of the crowd to reveal what’s important. It’s the PageRank version for Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Youtube and more.

A startup based in New York, Seen has been in existence since 2012. The company recently secured $1.25 million in funding from Horizons Ventures and KEC to capture live social events.
