Tweetalarm is the Twitter version of Google Alerts. It is a free service that allows Twitter users to keep track of tweets based on their preferred search keywords.
To use the service, just sign up on the site using your Twitter account name, email address and create a password and then you can input the keywords you want to monitor moving forward. Tweetalarm will then email you once it gets results from the web.
The default of the frequency of alerts is daily but you can change it any time according to your personal preference. You can choose to receive notifications on a weekly basis, twice a day or as often as you want.
Business owners and marketers can make good use of this tool to keep track of web content such as those that talk about their products, services and company.
