Twitonomy is a free tool that provides Twitter analytics and insights. It is capable of analyzing tweets and retweets, replies, mentions, hashtags, links, followers and people you are following, tweets per day of the week and per hours of the day among others.

With the paid version, you also get full access to search analytics for any hashtag. You’ll be able to see the evolution of a particular hashtag over time from its number of tweets, potential reach, a list of the most influential users, as well as most active users. You’ll also get top related hashtags, an interactive map, and lists of the most retweeted and most favorited tweets using the hashtag you searched for.

Twitonomy lets you monitor your own Twitter account and that of other users as well.
