It allows the conversion of a business Facebook page to fit in a mobile screen, but the process wasn’t automatic. We had to configure the dashboard to include each subpage. There was not an option to transfer content and images from a traditional URL. Typically, that is the first option these services offer. Often, the transition of a Facebook page can be more work than if you were to create a site from scratch.
Bizness Apps is one of the few services we reviewed that allows you to take your site and convert the information into an app for smart devices. We reviewed every tool featured in the Mobile Website plan. This information is applicable if you ever upgrade to the Mobile App plan.
If you’re looking for standard drag-and-drop functionality, Bizness Apps doesn’t offer it. However, that doesn’t mean their creator is any less efficient. When creating sites, you have a screen preview on your right that shows every change as you make it. The left side of the screen gives you a page layout. Everything in this layout can be edited, deleted or added upon. While it’s a unique approach to site building, it doesn’t make it less easy than the typical drag-and-drop builders. This builder is fully compatible with smartphones that use Android and iOS. If you want to reach customers with BlackBerry or Windows Phone devices, HTML5 is built into Bizness Apps to make your site viewable on those platforms as well.
Once you create an account with Bizness Apps, it’s easy to get started on your mobile site. The better than average amount of 20 templates make this a quick and painless process. Once you select a template, you can customize it to suit the needs of your business. From there, you can add features and content to your mobile website to help you maximize traffic and generate more interest in your business.
Basic mobile-site integration is available. You can connect your mobile site directly to social media outlets. Whether it’s Facebook or Twitter, there are various plugins to select. There are also various other app connections you can make. These have a tendency to clutter your mobile site unless you’re careful.
The help and support options for this mobile-site builder are a major strength. They provide support by phone, email and live chat. Even some of the highest-ranked services don’t provide a live chat option. Getting a response by live chat did take several minutes, but it’s faster than waiting for an email response. This mobile-web builder also provides a blog for startup advice and tutorials in case you run into issues.
