Virb is a website founded by Brad Smith that allows anyone to  design and maintain websites. Users can add various features of business related and customize to design their homepage at their built in option with HTML and CSS.

Virb is very easy and simple that anyone who doesn’t know anything about coding can built their own website by using Virb. Its has no space limitation so you can upload as much as you can possible.

You can upload videos, audios, images…anything you want! These users homepage can also be connected  through Twitter.

Virb generally focuses on more social networks. Virb was launched, as a beta form by the way inviting condition in 2006, and was publicly launched in March 2007.

The Houston Press praised highly Virb in 2007  for its unique customization, design and innovative features, such as iTunes integration. Virb was widely spread in succession to MySpace, cause of the site’s similar layout and functionality.

But at the end of 2007 Virb failed to turnout people and Facebook passed both Virb and MySpace in way of increasing users.

The web hosting company Media Temple bought Virb in June 2008. In July 2012, Virb declared that it was going to join officially to Media Temple family of products, promising new features, more dedicated customer support, and better system monitoring.

Virb is only $10 a month and they offer a free trial.
